With this kit you can access the micro SD card from the outside of the case. A small object like a pen will be required to eject the micro SD card out. You will have to cut some plastic off the side of this case to install this kit. You will then attach the extender to the case with the included double sided tape. The SmartiPi Touch Pro with external micro SD card access is a case that has a small opening on the side that exposes the micro SD card. The case includes a micro SD card extension cable that connects to the Raspberry Pi and is mounted at the opening as show in the below images. The micro SD slot is a push to eject style that is flush with the outside of the case when inserted. A small object, like a pen is used to push the micro SD card down to eject.
The Smartipi Touch Pro has two locations the Raspberry Pi can be installed inside the case. This kit will only work when the Raspberry Pi is installed on the side closer to the USB port openings. Therefore it will not work when using the USB and audio jack extender kit.

The case includes the micro SD card extension cable mounted to the case and an extra long display cable to route through the farther cable slot as shown in the image above. If you already own a SmartiPi Touch Pro you can buy these cables separately and modify the case yourself.
