水壓傳感器是一種適用於管道壓力檢測的設備，可以檢測容器內各類非腐蝕性液體和氣體的壓力。不僅可以用來測量液位高度，也可以用來檢測管道內是否存在有漏水，堵塞或者凍結等問題。再進一步通過對傳感器信號進行分析和換算後，可以了解到一個容器內是否存在液體，包括液位的高度，也能一併測量出來。可以廣泛應用於農業灌溉、花園苗圃、魚塘養殖等用水場合。
本款水壓傳感器採用DFRobot Gravity標準3-Pin接口，標準5V供電，0.5~4.5V線性電壓輸出，可兼容各種Arduino控制器。配合DFRobot Gravity IO Expansion Shield，可直插Arduino。無需額外接線。
當它配合DFRobot電磁閥、微型水流發電機以及其它傳感器使用時，還可以通過編程和硬件組合的方式設計出許多智能的系統。可以說，水壓傳感器就像是貼著水管的聽診器，它會告訴你許多水的信息，包括水的強弱，水的有無。
傳感器內部採用矽單晶材料，借助其在受到外力作用下電阻率會發生變化的現象（壓阻效應原理），可以用來檢傳感器是否受到壓力，其變化的阻值與受到的壓力成正比對應關係。
注意事項：
1. 測量之前應確保連接部分的密閉性
2.由於傳感器工作條件為-20～85 ℃，所以應避免在超出範圍的環境下使用
應用場景
1. 對室內，花園，菜園等場所中輸水網絡的水壓進行檢測（可與其它傳感器組合使用）
2. 對江、河、湖、海等戶外領域的水壓值進行測定
3. 水箱壓力值的測量
4. 部分情況下可用於測量液位
