Fluke F820 Rotation Rate Stroboscope
The Fluke 820 stroboscope is a light source flashing at a certain frequency. When observing a high speed rotating or moving objects, the stroboscope LED light pulses can adjusted and synchronised to slow or freeze the apparent motion of the object so that surface quality or operational status of the object can be observed.
A stroboscope can be used to measure the rotation rate of motors, fans, pumps, gears, etc., in order to verify product quality on high-speed product-lines or diagnosing product vibration. Stroboscopes are widely used in HVAC, print, manufacturing, paper, spinning / weaving, and other mechanisms in light industrial mechanical processes.
